Animal Shelters

      Animal shelters need money for various reasons. They need money for food, water, crates, beds and medicine if the dog has an illness. Animal shelters could have to kill the animals if they do not have enough money for all the animals. Animals have no voice of their own and are mistreated and killed way more than you would like to think.   Did you know that about 7.6 million companion pets are surrendered to animal shelters every year? It's true, and that is one of the reasons animal shelters don't have a lot of room and might have to kill the animals. Some people have to surrender their pets because of illness, and the shelters need money to take care of the animals.
